Disclaimer (United Kingdom)

Last updated: May 2026  •  Version 1.0

This disclaimer applies to all use of the LucroVox service in the United Kingdom. It supplements (and does not replace) our UK Terms of Service and UK Privacy Notice.

⚠️ LucroVox does not handle 999 or 112 emergency calls.

If you are experiencing an emergency, call 999 (or 112) immediately. The LucroVox AI agent is not a replacement for emergency services and is not designed to dispatch police, fire, ambulance or coastguard. Customers must ensure that callers retain access to their existing emergency arrangements through other means.

AI-powered service

LucroVox uses artificial intelligence (AI) to power its voice agent. The agent is designed to be helpful, professional and clear, but it is not a human and may not handle every nuance of every conversation perfectly.

No professional advice

Information provided by a LucroVox AI agent (configured by a Customer business) is for general informational and booking purposes only. It does not constitute legal, medical, financial, regulatory or other professional advice. Where a caller requires professional advice, the agent will, where appropriate, capture details and escalate to the relevant human at the Customer business.

Service availability

We aim to provide a reliable service but we do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Performance may be affected by upstream telecoms providers, AI model providers, internet connectivity, planned maintenance, and force majeure events. We publish target service levels in our UK Terms of Service.

Transcription and consent

Calls answered by the LucroVox AI agent are transcribed in real time to enable lead capture and service delivery. Call audio is streamed but not recorded or stored. The agent may inform callers that the call could be transcribed for quality purposes. Transcripts are retained for up to 3 months and then automatically deleted. The Customer (the business using LucroVox to answer their calls) is the data controller for transcript data and is responsible for ensuring an appropriate lawful basis under UK GDPR. LucroVox processes this data on the Customer's behalf.

Telephony and Ofcom

The service operates over carrier-grade telephony infrastructure (currently Twilio) under their UK regulatory bundles. We do not initiate unsolicited marketing calls; the service is designed primarily for inbound call handling. Customers using the service for any outbound calling are responsible for compliance with the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003, the Telephone Preference Service, and applicable Ofcom General Conditions.

Third-party content and integrations

LucroVox may integrate with third-party services (calendars, CRMs, payment systems). We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy or behaviour of those third-party systems. Use of those integrations is governed by the respective third-party provider's terms.

Forward-looking statements

Marketing materials, ROI calculators, and example numbers on this site are illustrative. Real-world results depend on call volumes, the configuration of the agent, and the Customer's own follow-up. Past or expected results do not guarantee future outcomes.

Indemnity

Customers agree to indemnify LucroVox UK against any third-party claim arising from (a) misconfiguration of the AI agent by the Customer or its users, (b) the Customer's failure to obtain necessary consents from end callers, (c) outbound calling or marketing activity initiated through the service in breach of applicable law, or (d) any breach of the UK Terms of Service.
